Nijmegen 3 Day Training Weekend 25 - 28 May 2007

The 3 day training march will be held at Royal Air Force Lyneham on 25 - 28 May 2007.

This march is part of the overall training programme towards the Nijmegen March.

The objective is to complete approximately 75 miles over the 3 days - 25 miles a day!

RAF Lyneham 3 Day (75 mile) March 26 - 29 May 2006

This years training weekend was well attended with some 30 cadets and staff from Dorset/Wilts Wing and this time we were joined by cadets from Devon & Somerset Wing.

Also participating were some 30 members of the British & Dutch Walking Fellowship (BDWF) who meet with us for the Saturday & Sunday as they use this event as their qualifying march

The BDWF also supply all our 1st Aid cover, which is much appreciated.

 

The routes we have registered (Saturday & Sunday only) are also accredited by RAFNMCO and BMCDBMgr as a qualifying march for Military participants who are unable to attend or complete the 2day march at DCAE Cosford.
